In the face of US sanctions on Russia, Moscow on Wednesday said it's fully prepared to honour its obligations and commitments on S-400 Triumf long-range surface-to-air missile system deal with India.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18's Parikshit Luthra, Sergey Ryabkov, deputy foreign minister, said Moscow know the ways of how to deal with sanctions, how to counter negative effects of extraterritorial sanctions, which are completely illegitimate and against international laws.
Ryabkov said, "I am tempted to say that US sanctions on Russia will only strengthen our relationship with India. There is no such thing in the world that can damage decades and centuries long relationship between Russia and India. They have sustained difficult times in the past and I am sure we have a very bring future before us."
