Prashant Panday, MD & CEO of Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), which runs leading FM channel Radio Mirchi, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the timeline for the operationalisation of the new stations acquired in the second batch of the phase-III auctions and the company's aggressive overseas expansion plans.
Panday said that the margins in non-radio business to grow to mid-30s from current 28 percent. He further said that all stations acquired in second batch of phase-III will be operational by November.
According to him, new stations will help expand network across cities, boost listenership base.
On global front, he said Radio Mirchi is awaiting licence to launch in Qatar.
"We are evaluating USA, Canada, Africa, Australia and New Zealand for Launch," Panday added.
