Meet Amol Chaphekar, managing director of Strata Group, who has created a device that purifies polluted air in public places. The ‘Outdoor Pollution Controller’ is improving air quality at traffic intersections, airports and railway stations.
It improves air quality within a radius of 60 feet. The device can clean 2,000 cubic feet of air in one minute.
The cost of ‘Outdoor Pollution Controller’ is Rs 1-5 lakh and maintenance of one controller unit costs Rs 3,000 per month. A visible improvement in air quality recorded in deployment zones. The company is targeting 100 cities in India for ‘Outdoor Pollution Controller’.
