Water harvesting is normally linked to rain. However, it is possible to harvest wastewater for use in irrigation. A school in Chhattisgarh shows how it is done.

Water is life - the lesson is taught in every school. But this school in Chhattisgarh is teaching students how to actually put it into practice. Rishi Vidyalaya has constructed 7 water harvesting systems which recycle bathroom and kitchen wastewater for reuse in organic farming. Organic manure is also produced on the farm.
