Mary Kom tops the International Boxing Association's (AIBA) latest world ranking. With 1,700 points, Mary Kom occupies the numero uno spot in the 48 kg weight division.
Kom's ranking shot up after she bagged her sixth gold at the world championships in November 2018.
With that, she also became the most successful boxer in world championships' history. In 2018, Kom won gold medals at commonwealth games and 13th Silesian open boxing tournament in Poland.
She also bagged a silver medal at the 69th Strandja memorial boxing tournament. The mother of three won a bronze at the 2012 London Olympics.
She was unable to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics. The 36-year-old will have to shift to 51 kg category for the 2020 Olympics as 48 kg is not yet included in the roster.
