Updated : November 21, 2019 09:41 PM IST

Indraprastha Vidyalaya in Karnataka’s Uppinangady has introduced ‘Water Bell’ to inculcate the habit of drinking water among students. The program was introduced after teachers and parents complained that students were not drinking enough water through the day.

The bell rings thrice a day at 10:45 AM, 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Water bell was initially implemented in parts of Kerala and later it was introduced in some schools in Telangana.
