Havells India will report its third-quarter earnings on Tuesday and the electrical equipment maker is likely to see a double-digit revenue growth.
- Havells surprised the street positively in the last couple of quarters but the management has been saying that don’t extrapolate these numbers, they were one of but the street is still expecting a steady quarter from the company.
- The revenue is expected to jump 15 percent on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The margins, however, might deplete given the product mix as well as the operational leverage.
- So the margins might come down by 70 basis points (bps) to 12.8 percent and the profits are seen flat at Rs 192 crore versus Rs 194 crore but do remember there was an exceptional gain last year of about Rs 21 crore and that is the reason why the profits look flat.
- The growth is expected to come in from the switchgear cable and the ECD segment of the company. So 15-20 percent growth is expected to come from the switchgear business as well as the ECD segment. However, the cables might grow by 10-15 percent.
