The resilience of the Indian economy has taken economists by surprise, especially the manner in which it bounced back in Q2.
However, equally many worry that the economy was slowing even before the pandemic. So what will prevail in 2021? Will India grow faster than 11-12 percent that have been forecast by many after the negative 8 percent for this year? However, much will depend on global growth. So will global growth surprise on the upside given the huge amount of money printing by central banks and the availability of vaccines?
