It has been constructed underneath one of the main streets in Hawthorne, California. One end of tunnel starts in a parking lot at Space X office
It costs approximately $10 million to complete. The speed during demonstration rides is 40 and 50 miles per hour.
Musk claims the tunnel can allow safe travel at over 150 miles per hour. An actual solution to soul-crushing burden of traffic.
