Titan Company is set to release its first-quarter earnings today and it is expected to be a washout quarter for the firm owing to the lockdown. The company is likely to post an EBITDA loss and a net loss.
In the jewellery business, the May revenue decline was 80 percent and July revenue decline was 30 percent. Similarly, in the watches business, the May revenue decline was 95 percent and the June decline was almost 80 percent. The eyewear business was even worse during the quarter.
The Street, hence, is expecting the revenue to decline by about 62 percent.
