Last year, we operated pellet plant at 100% capacity at 6 lakh tonne, said Padam Jain, Director and Chief Financial Officer, Sarda Energy and Minerals.
"In the current year, we are expecting permission to produce up to 8 lakh tonne, so it’s a major increase on volume side," said Jain to CNBC-TV18's Nigel D'Souza and Reema Tendulkar.
“With the commissioning of steel plant, some additional volume will be available in case of steel billets also,” he said.
Jain said the average realisations in Q4 were 20% higher than Q3.
On debt front, he said, “Our overall consolidated debt is about Rs 160,000 and it will remain in the range of that level because some new projects are going."
Sarda Energy and Minerals posted a very good set of numbers this quarter.
