Mindtree Q3 results: Here's what to expect today

Information Technology company Mindtree is set to announce its quarterly results on Wednesday. The company has seen quite a bit of fall recently.

After touching its lifetime high of Rs 1,183 in the month of September, the stock has corrected close to about 30 percent mainly due to growth slowing down in the quarter ended December 31.

This is a seasonally weak quarter, so momentum is going to be slow.

A dollar revenue growth of 1.9 percent is expected.

Margins will expand a tad bit, 50 basis points (bps), according to CNBC-TV18 poll aided by the INR depreciation

Profits on the other hand could see a bit of a correction.

The key factor to track will be the medium-term improvement in margins because while the margins have improved, it is still much lower than the industry average and the kind of margins Mindtree used to enjoy.
