Our focus is to build warehouses in next three-five years and continue to grow in our multimodal transport Operations (MTO) business, said Shashi Kiran Shetty, founder and Chairman, Allcargo Logistics.
Shetty said the company has an order book close to Rs 200 crore in the project division.
“Our equipment utilisation right now is around 50%, which used to be about 35% and we are expecting that to improve in following two quarters," he said.
Speaking on windmill segment, he said, "We have closed on lot of new accounts and the entire windmill sector is now revived. So a lot of new contracts have been awarded to the windmill companies and they are setting up the windmills. So, utilisation of equipment will go up substantially in coming quarter."
Talking about expansion, Shetty said the company will acquire more land in places like Bhiwandi and Pune.
"We are not raising any money. The land is already there with us, which we have bought years ago and these lands are now used for building large warehousing requirement the country is experiencing,” he added.
