Private lender DCB Bank is set to announce its first-quarter results today. Here's what to expect from the bank:
- The net interest income (NII) growth has been lagging behind the loan growth for 6 quarters in a row. This indicates that there has been pressure on the net interest margin (NIM). The NIM was at 3.78 percent in the previous quarter, hence, any improvement in the number will be seen as positive.
- The loan growth momentum is expected to pick up. A loan growth of around 17 percent is expected this quarter against the 6 percent of the last quarter.
- CNBC-TV18 poll suggests NII growth of close to 15 percent while an increase in profit by 35 percent. However, on a sequential basis, the profit is expected to decline at around 2.7 percent.
