Telecom major Bharti Airtel is set to announce its quarterly earnings on Monday. It has been one of the strongest stocks on Nifty. The stock is up 40 percent since the first day of the lockdown as the data consumption has gone up. Also, the tariffs have been hiked since December. Hence, it is expected to be a strong quarter for Bharti Airtel.
The consolidated revenues are expected to rise 6 percent on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The average revenue per user (ARPU) is expected to rise 9 percent QoQ to come in at Rs 147. The Street is expecting the subscribers to rise to 284.5 million versus 283 million in the preceding quarter.
