Telecom company Bharti Airtel is all set to announce its first-quarter earnings today. As Airtel Africa numbers are already out, the focus is going to be on wireless business in India. The quarter, however, is likely to be weak for the company.
A revenue decline of 2 percent for the India mobility business is expected. Margins could be flattish because the negative operating leverage could be offset by lower expenses. However, the money could be made in broadband, as well as D2H business this time.
