Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Singh talked about the changing media landscape and the challenges of a marketer.
“In the last four-five years, there have been multiple occasions when there were dramatic changes in how the media industry operates, whether it is the new tariff order or demonetisation or goods and services tax. The job of a marketer is to constantly keep building brands. What we find is that these occasions are great opportunities for strong brands to get stronger and the media plays a great role in building that advantage for the brands. I look forward to a challenging year ahead. It will be exciting to see how we come out on the other end of it,” he added.
