Over 6 months of shutdown, re-opening with less than 50 percent business, high operational expenses and after tackling all of that, a night curfew again… year 2020 left a sour taste in the mouth for the restaurant sector.
But as the year came to an end, the sector got something to cheer about- a 50 percent reduction in excise licence fee along with a waiver on the proposed 15 percent hike in excise licence fee in Maharashtra.
