Rolls-Royce unveiled electric flying taxi concept, EVTOL, at Farnborough Airshow.
Electric vertical take-off and landing (EVTOL) vehicle is built with Rolls-Royce's M250 gas-engine.The design could be adapted for personal and public transport, logistics and military applications.
EVTOL uses gas turbine tech to generate electricity to power six electric propulsors and it will have tilting wings for vertical take-off and landing.
Seating capacity: 4-5, Cruise speed: 402 km/hr, Flying range: 804 km
The EVTOL will hit the skies by 2020.
