CNBC-TV18 caught up with Manish Amin, Chief Information and Technology Officer of Yatra.com to find out the details of the company's plan.
“In our case for domestic travellers there will be a digital Yatra ID (DYID). With that ID it is a onetime process," said Manish Amin, chief information and technology officer, Yatra.com.
"When they go to the airport, there is a kiosk outside where you validate and authenticate yourself. When we print the boarding pass or the e-ticket, we will print a QR code on that which helps you identify who the customer is, what the ID is, who is travelling and what the travel details are," he said.
