Don't see a slowdown in India's ability to step up: Airbus

Airbus India on Friday said the company do not see a slowdown in India's ability to step up after it inaugurated of a 500-person, state-of-the-art
office in Bengaluru to help advance the group's fast-expanding

information technology and digital capabilities across its global operations.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Anand Stanley, managing director, said, "Inauguration of office in Bengaluru represents India's significance for Airbus and the company is going to see increased procurement from the country."

Stanley said, "This centre will host about 500 highly talented souls with state of the art cutting edge skills. I believe this is a critical part of our digital transformation journey globally. We will see that up to about 20 percent of our highly talented information management team will be seated here in Bengaluru."
