Updated : November 16, 2018 20:58:29 IST

To make flying a hassle-free experience, Bengaluru's Kempegowda International airport has launched 'self bag drop.' 16 fully-automated self bag drop machines have been installed.

The machines are designed and installed by Materna IPS.

So, how does it work?
  • Print your boarding pass and eezee-tag (bag tag) at self check-in kiosk
  • Scan your boarding pass at the bag drop machine to initiate the process.
  • The bag will be measured, weighed, scanned and automatically fed into system.
Initially this facility will be available for Air Asia and Spicejet passengers.
