The year 2020 promises to be a very exciting time for electric vehicles (EVs) in the Indian space. The first launch has been from a two-wheeler which is targeting the urban people, it is the Chetak. Chetak is being sold in Pune and Bengaluru for Rs 1 lakh for the Urbane variant and Rs 1.15 lakh for the Premium Chetak.
Unlike its namesake before, Chetak will not be looking at volumes, instead, the manufacturer is calling it the Armani of scooters. It will be targeting the posh customers with first in a class metal body, keyless operation, cloud connectivity, as well as USB connectivity.
