Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz unveils its first all-electric car, the Mercedes-Benz EQC 400 4matic.
The company claims the car can go up to 450 kms on a single charge (based on NEDC standards). The 80 kwh battery can be charged in 40 minutes (from 10% to 80%) with a fast charger.
The car has two electric motors in the front and the rear.
The EQC features the new infotainment system Mbux with two 10.3-inch screens.The Mbux offers a host of features including voice control, route guidance, driving programmes and special connectivity services.
The car also has heated seats, rose gold accents and 64-colour ambient lighting which is optional. The EQC is expected to go into production in the second half of 2019.
