Here's why Rajiv Bajaj says Bajaj Auto can't engage with Harley-Davidson

Last week, the American motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson pulled the plug on its India operations as part of its global restructuring strategy. While the exit comes as part of a global restructuring strategy, industry sources say that the company's India exit is a precursor to strategic tie-ups and the company is in talks with Indian vehicle makers. However, in an interview with CNBC-TV18, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director Bajaj Auto said his company cannot engage with Harley Davidson for a strategic tie-up.
