Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI), the country's second-largest two-wheeler company, on Thursday said it would be difficult to maintain double-digit growth seen in October.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18's Parikshit Luthra, Minoru Kato, president, said, "Thanks to our dealer's preparation for the festive season, we got the result. However, it will be very difficult to continue with the total market situation."
Kato further added, "We have a plan to changeover from BS-IV to BS-VI step by step, model by model and so far we are inline with our plan. So, we do not have a problem."
YS Guleria, senior vice president, said, "SP 125 is a real thrill to drive. Once you ride it, you will find how different it is from the existing bikes in the market. Specially thanks to the 19 new patent applications and new engine as well as frame platform on which this vehicle has been developed and many first in segment features have been added."
