Farmer-government meeting ends inconclusively; next meeting on December 9

The 5th round of farmer-government meeting at the Vigyan Bhavan has ended inconclusively. The government once again appealed to end the protests but the farmers remain unmoved; they reiterated their demand to scrap 3 farm laws.

The 5th round of farmer-government meeting at the Vigyan Bhavan has ended inconclusively. The government once again appealed to end the protests but the farmers remain unmoved; they reiterated their demand to scrap 3 farm laws.


Furthermore, it was decided at the meeting that the next round of talks between farmer leaders and the central government will be held next week at the request of all stakeholders. The farmers have also called for a Bharat Bandh on December 8th.
