Reliance announced the launch of JioPhone 2 in July at the company's 41st annual general meet (AGM) for Rs 2,999. At the AGM, Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that the phone will be up for registration on August 15. But that didn't happen.
Now the company has announced a flash sale giving potential buyers a chance to buy Jio Phone 2. The company is holding a flash sale today at 12:00 pm.
However, the Jio Phone 2 stocks available in the sale are likely to be quite limited in number.
Considering that it's going to be a flash sale, the JioPhone 2 stock may get over in seconds. So those who are interested in buying the phone can sign up with Jio.com or MyJio App with either their Jio number or email id to book the JioPhone 2 quickly before the feature phone goes out-of-stock.

Reports claim that JioPhone 2 can be booked only via net banking, debit or credit card. No cash of delivery (COD).
According to the website, those who buy the phone in the flash sale should ideally get the device shipped to them within 5-7 business days.
The JioPhone 2 comes with a QWERTY keyboard and runs Kai OS like the JioPhone. It features a 2.4-inch QVGA display. The phone has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage that is expandable up to 158GB via microSD card.
On the camera front, the phone has a 2-megapixel rear and a VGA front camera. It come with 2000mAh battery and connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, VoWi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and FM radio.
The official website says those who buy the handset in the Jio Phone 2 flash sale should ideally get the device shipped to them within 5-7 business days. Customers can also pick it up from a nearby authorised retailer.
