Hackers opt for covert methods for cryptocurrency mining, says report

There has been a 96 percent increase in crypto-jacking in the first half of 2018.
There has been a 250 percent increase, compared to the second half of the previous year, in detections of one particular small file malware, TinyPOS.
Nilesh Jain, Vice President – South East Asia and India, Trend Micro, said that a robust cybersecurity is a necessity.
