Gujarat government plans to cap Uber, Ola fleet to 20,000 cabs, says report

Gujarat State on Demand Transportation Aggregator Rules, 2018’s main objective of capping the limit of vehicles is to get these services under the net of rules.
Vehicles registered with ride hailing services such as Ola and Uber have been rising in the country, resulting in the decline of traditional taxi business, congested roads and public safety concerns including attacks on passengers.
