CII-YI to host innovation conclave in Jharkhand

CII-YI's objective is to provide appropriate platform for Start Up programmes and assist the new innovator.

A total of 18 new ideas and prototypes would be exhibited during the conclave to woo the investors.

To promote innovation and Start Up India programme, CII-Young Indians in association with Tata Steel and XLRI will host 'Innovation Conclave-2018' here on September 29.

The conclave themed, "My innovation, my investor", is the first of its kind in the state and is aimed to provide a platform for people aspiring to do something new, Prakash Singh, Chief of Capability Development, Tata Steel, said on Sunday.

Addressing a press conference here, Singh, who was accompanied by Dibyanshu Sinha, president of CII-YI Jamshedpur, said India has immense potential for innovation, creating entrepreneurship as well as creating job opportunities.

CII-YI's objective is to provide appropriate platform for Start Up programmes and assist the new innovators, he said.

Apart from the experts in the field from parts of the country, representatives from educational institutions, industry, investors and innovators would be seen on a common platform to share their experiences during the conclave, Singh said.

A total of 18 new ideas and prototypes would be exhibited during the conclave to woo the investors, he added.
