    • Well that brings us to the end of our coverage from today's double header. South Africa got the better of Sri Lanka in the first match followed by this thumping victory for England over Australia.

We have another double header lined up tomorrow with Afghanistan vs Namibia at 3:30 PM IST. Followed by the one we've been anxiously waiting for, India vs New Zealand at 7:30 PM IST. Join us tomorrow as we'll bring you all the updates from those two games. Till then it's goodbye and goodnight.

    • Eoin Morgan (England Captain): The challenge for us is adapting to conditions away from home, we did that really well in the first two games then a big test against a really strong Australian side. Relentless with our lengths and our plans and the bowlers came up trumps. Depending on how the wicket plays you have to have one or two guys to go to, and they came up trumps. The openers look in really good form, Roy Man of the Match against Bangladesh and Buttler following suit. They are all hard ones, we treat everyone with the same respect, it's a tough competition, we go from here to Sharjah for two games in five days.

    • Aaron Finch (Australia Captain): After losing few wickets in the powerplay, we had to hang in there and get to a total we thought would be defendable. They bowled well and put us on the back foot early. You had to bowl them out with that kind of total, but Jos Buttler played a hell of an innings and put the pressure on us and it's just one of those nights where we got off to a poor start and it kept compounding unfortunately. We got a couple of days to recharge now, give the guys some much-needed rest and take on Bangladesh next

    • Chris Jordan (3/17), Player of the Match: It was a great bowling effort from the boys. Woakesy set up the tone. We try to keep it as simple as possible. We try and asses the pitch quickly. We tried to hold our lengths and bowl it straight and luckily it worked today. You just try to stick your strengths and then still add a little bit to your skills. You are never comfortable in international ticket. Everyday you want to improve as there are so many players who want to get into the team.

    • Total dominance from the Three Lions and they have one foot in the semi-finals now with 6 points from 3 games. Eoin Morgan's side have been absolutely relentless, showing why they're the no.1 ranked T20I team entering the tournament. Australia were outplayed in all departments today and this opens the door for South Africa who move above them to take 2nd spot in the group with their win earlier today.

    • England win by 8 wickets!

    • It’s been a thumping victory for England against their arch-rivals. The 1st ball slips past through everyone for FOUR byes. Both batters grab singles off the next two balls to level the scores. Bairstow drives the 4th ball to point to seal the win.

      England 126/2 after 11.4 overs.

    • FOUR byes! Bairstow gets low to slog at the 1st ball from Agar but misses as the ball slips past the keeper and slip to find the boundary.

    • 20 runs off the over as Buttler gets the ball rolling with a SIX off the 1st ball. He then rotates strike with a single. Bairstown keeps up the momentum as he hammers back-to-back SIXES off the next 2 balls. Bairstow slogs at the last ball but the fielder at deep mid-wicket keeps it down to a single. Just 7 runs needed from 54 balls now.

      England 119/2 after 11 overs.

    • SIX! Bairstow gets down on one knee now to send the next ball flying over deep mid-wicket.

    • SIX! Bairstow joins the party now as he launches the 3rd ball high over long-on for a maximum.

    • SIX! Buttler is going after Zampa as he charges out and thumps the 1st ball high over long-on.

    • England comfortably placed at the halfway point in this chase needing just 27 from 60 balls.

    • Agar gives Australia something to cheer about as he gets Malan CAUGHT BEHIND on the 1st ball. Bairstow walks out to bat and doesn't manage to get any runs off the next 3 balls. Both batters close out the over with singles off the last 2 balls. 2 runs and a wicket from the over.

      England 99/2 after 10 overs.

    • Jonny Bairstow, right handed bat, comes to the crease.

    • Agar sends down a quicker flat delivery and Malan plays for the spin but only gets a faint edge which Wade does well to collect.

      Malan c Wade b Agar 8 (8)

    • Ashton Agar [1.0-0-10-0] is back into the attack.

    • Buttler just isn’t ready to take his foot off the pedal as he tonks Zampa for a mighty SIX on the 2nd ball to bring up his FIFTY. That’s come off just 25 balls and is the fastest FIFTY of the tournament so far. He isn’t done yet though as he slaps the 5th ball over cover for 2 runs and uses the reverse sweep on the final delivery for FOUR more. 15 runs come off the over.

      England 97/1 after 9 overs.

    • FOUR! This is brilliant from Buttler now as he uses the reverse sweep on the last ball for yet another boundary.

    • FIFTY up for Buttler! 55 (25)

    • SIX! Buttler dances down the track and slams the ball from Zampa high over long-off to bring up his FIFTY!

    • Absolutely relentless from England! Buttler flicks the 1st ball for a single and Starc nails the yorker on the 2nd ball to force Malan to uncomfortably block it out. That’s the only highlight for Starc as Malan slices the next ball for FOUR. Buttler then gets going as he smashes the last two balls for back-to-back FOURs. 14 runs off the over.

      England 82/1 after 8 overs.

    • FOUR! Brilliant from Buttler as he clears his front foot to pull the last ball over mid-wicket.

    • FOUR! Buttler takes a step forward to meet the ball full and hammer it straight down to long-off.

    • FOUR! Short from Starc and Malan gets on top of the bounce to slice it powerfully through point.

    • Good over by Zampa to give Australia something to build on. It’s one shot too many from Roy as he misses with the reverse sweep and has to walk back. Dawid Malan manages to get off the mark with a single off the 4th ball. Buttler drives the last ball through cover for a run. Just 2 runs and a wicket from the over.

      England 68/1 after 7 overs.

    • Dawid Malan, left handed bat, comes to the crease.

    • Roy goes for the reverse sweep but misses completely as the ball hits him on the pads. The Umpire isn't convinved but Australia go for the Review and three reds means Roy has to walk.

      Roy lbw b Zampa 22 (20)

    • Adam Zampa, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack.
