The medals just keep coming for India. Pooja Shiag wins her women's 76kg freestyle wrestling bout against Australia's Naomi de Bruine via technicial superiority. Shiag raced to 11 points and did not let Naomi de Bruine win even a single point. As a result Pooja Shiag walks away with the bronze.

Nigeria's Ebikewenimo Welson made early moves and attacked Ravi Kumar but Ravi was alert and strong in defence. After Ravi denied Ebikewenimo Welson to win points, he attacked his opponent and fetched 10 points to win the gold medal bout on technical superiority. After his Olympic silver, Ravi Kumar adds Commonwealth Games gold to his tally!

Pooja Ghelot collected 11 points in the first period while Christelle Lemofack Letchidjio could win only 2 points. After the 30 seconds break, Pooja Ghelot completed the formalities and won the bout to win the bronze medal.

It wasn't Jasmine's day. She was slow right from the start and Gemma Paige Richardson took advantage of Jasmine's slow start and landed power punches, jabs and hooks on her target. Jasmine just did not look in a position to mount a comeback. In the third round, Jasmine looked low on confidence and all Gemma Paige Richardson had to do was play safe. Gemma Paige Richardson wins the third round too and she wins the semifinal bout on points and sails into the final. Jasmine has to settle for the bronze medal.
Boxing, Women’s Over 57kg-60kg (Lightweight) - Semi-Final
It is a cagey affair between Jasmine and Gemma Paige Richardson in this semifinal bout. Both boxers have been cautious in their approach. Neither Jasmine nor Gemma Paige Richardson has emerged as a particular favourite. But Richardson has won the second round as she has fetched 10 points from each of the five judges. Jasmine needs to do something big now!

It looked like a close first round. Both Jasmine and Gemma Paige Richardson has a mixed approach. Neither boxer was particularly aggresive. As a result we have a split decision in favour of Gemma Paige Richardson. Jasmine has to make up for the lost points in the second round.

There was no stopping Nikhat Zareen today. She unleashed a flurry of punches, jabs and hooks on England's Savannah Alfia Stubley right from the start. Stubley was very defensive in all the three rounds. Zareen capatilized on Stubley's defensive approach and continued to attack. As a result she won all three rounds to register a unanimous over Stubley. Zareen sails into the final. She is assured at least of a silver medal.
