Updated : April 24, 2019 01:12 PM IST
The new dry soaps and cleaners, which come in the form of small fabric-like 'swatches' that foam when users add water during washing or cleaning, will reduce substantially water used in production and be lighter and smaller to package and ship.
P&G will face the challenge of convincing consumers that the soaps and cleaners are as good as something they would buy in a bottle, the report said quoting analysts.
The company launched on Monday a wesbite selling limited quantities of dry hand soap and laundry detergent, with more variants on the way.
