The Surf Excel advertising, which seeks to show the plight of a Muslim boy during Holi festivities and drives home the point of communal harmony, is being labelled as 'anti-Hindu' by a section of the public, and has had consequences, including the Microsoft Excel app's ratings being pulled downby online trolls.
He was answering a specific question on whether he fears brands and advertising are becoming more inward-looking.
