Amway drags Flipkart to court for 'unauthorised' selling of its goods: report
Amway has taken Walmart-owned Flipkart to the Delhi High Court, accusing the company of “unauthorised” selling of Amway products on the ecommerce platform, The Economic Times

reported.

The US-owned company has alleged that the e-tailer “contradicts” India's guidelines that mandate ecommerce firms to seek prior permission from direct-selling companies like Amway to list their products online, a person familiar with the matter told the newspaper.

Another source told the ET that Amway’s sales representatives are bound by the company’s code of ethics that bar representatives from selling the products through other platforms.

Flipkart didn’t respond to queries sent by the newspaper while Amway said it believes in conducting business ethically and is committed to help its direct sellers succeed.
