BJP emerged as the main opposition in the state with over 70 seats while once powerful left parties and congress have been literally decimated.
Ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) has emerged victorious for the third consecutive time as it retains power in the state with a clear majority. The party performed beyond expectations and predictions with over 200 seats.
