Siliguri is an Assembly constituency in the Darjeeling district, in the North Bengal region of West Bengal. The Siliguri constituency went to polls on April 17, 2021. The assembly seat is reserved for the General category.
The information coming in from the respective counting centres is that BJP's Sankar Ghosh has secured a victory against TMC's Dr Omprakash Mishra.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Siliguri was won by Asok Bhattacharya of CPIM.Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Rudra Nath Bhattacharya of TMC.In the 2016 assembly polls, Asok Bhattacharya garnered 78054 votes, securing over 46.36 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 14072 votes.
In percentage terms, the victory margin was 8.36 percent.The constituency polled 168617 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 80.79 percent.The Siliguri constituency has a literacy level of 79.92 percent.A total of 11 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
