Now that the Modi cabinet is in place and the first cabinet meeting is scheduled at 5 pm on Thursday, there is no clarity on who is getting which portfolio. CNBC-TV18’s Shereen Bhan explains.

Another surprise inclusion was S Jaishankar, former foreign secretary, who is likely to replace Sushma Swaraj as the new external affairs minister.
