Lok Sabha Election Results: BJP party workers celebrate as early trends show clear majority

Updated : 2019-05-23 15:21:12

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters are already preparing for celebrations for their victory in the Lok Sabha elections. From saffron colour laddoo cake being prepared to people making merry outside the HQ office, supporters have already begun to wave the party flag victoriously. Narendra Modi's BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) alliance is eyeing a stunning victory in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, leading with more than 300 seats — well above the halfway mark required to gain command in the Lok Sabha. The Congress party appeared to be heading for another lower tally, after its dismal showing in 2014, leading in 91 seats. Here are the latest pictures:

The BJP-led NDA is heading towards a clean sweep in Rajasthan with saffron party candidates leading in 24 seats while its alliance partner Rashtriya Loktantrik Party is leading in one seat, as per Election Commission trends.
