Several unsubstantiated videos and reports from a few places around the country showed EVMs being transported without the proper level of security.
Opposition parties approached the Election Commission on Tuesday yet again with the plea to first take up the counting of voter slips of five VVPAT machines and match them with the corresponding EVMs.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed a PIL seeking 100 percent matching of VVPAT slips with EVMs during counting of votes on May 23 for Lok Sabha polls.
