The BJP has won 23 and ally Shiv Sena 18 out of the 48 seats in Maharashtra where results of Lok Sabha polls have been declared so far.
The NCP won four seats, while Congress won one, an independent candidate won and the AIMIM party won a seat each.
There is a total of 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra.
Union minister of state for Defense and BJP candidate Subhash Bhamre has retained Dhule seat, while Union Minister for heavy industries Anant Geete, of Shiv Sena, has lost in Raigad to NCP's Sunil Tatkare.
BJP won in Raver, Jalgaon, Dhule, Mumbai North East, Nandurbar, among others.
Sena won Shirdi, Osmanabad, Palghar, Parbhani, Ratnagiri-Sindhdurg, Maval, Mumbai South and Mumbai South Central, among others.
The BJP and Shiv Sena gained the momentum by sealing a seat-sharing pact, ironing out last three years of wrinkles and uneasy ties. The opposition fought all 48 seats together with the NCP getting 26 seats, while the Congress contesting in 22 seats.
Maharashtra voted in four phases on April 11, 18, 23 and 29.
The final voting percentage in the first and second phase was 63.04 and 62.88 percent, respectively while it was 62.33 percent and 57.32 percent in the third and fourth phase, respectively.
Indian market pared gains to end lower on profit booking after the indices hit record high in intra-day deals on optimism of Modi win. Sensex was down 298.82 points or 0.76 percent to 38,811.39 and Nifty50 was at 11,657.05, 80.85 points or 0.69 percent.
