Lok Sabha election results 2019: Mulayam Singh Yadav wins Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 94,000 votes

Yadav polled 479025 votes while Shakya has secured 397324 votes at 06:20 PM, according to information trickling out of the Election Commission.
The voting was held on April 23, 2019, in Mainpuri. In the previous elections, Yadav beat Shatrughan Singh Chauhan of BJP by receiving 59.60 percent of the votes.
Yadav has served as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh thrice — from 1989 to 1991, from 1993 to 1995, and from 2003 to 2007. He has been elected to the state assembly eight times since 1967.
