Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met former British prime minister Tony Blair, former Australian premier John Howard, former US Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and Condoleezza Rice and former US secretary of defence Robert Gates, who are members of JP Morgan's International Council in New Delhi. Besides these statesmen, the International Council comprises the who’s who of the world of business and finance such as Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase, Ratan Tata and heads of global companies such as Nestle, Kraft Heinz and Alibaba, among others.

Spoke about India’s efforts in health, education and becoming a USD 5 Trillion economy," the Prime Minister said in a tweet.
Modi also said he had great discussions with Kissinger, Blair and Rice, and talked about wide-ranging global issues. This was the first time since 2007 that the JP Morgan International Council met in India, reported PTI.
