Pride Month -- from June 1 to 30 -- to express solidarity with the LGTBQ+ community is being observed in several parts of the world. While it started in the United States in 1969, with people marching with rainbow-coloured flags to commemorate the struggles and victories of the LGBTQ+ communities, it has become an international phenomenon today. This time, after a two-year gap due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several cities are organising an array of events to commemorate Pride Month-
