The IPL Mega Auction 2022 got off to a frenetic start with teams bidding for the marquee players who went under the hammer the moment bidding got underway a few moments ago. Shreyas Iyer became the most expensive player so far after Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for Rs 12.25 crore. Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals too splashed some cash.
