SUMMARY
As BJP is eyeing a win in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, party supporters and the headquarters have already begun preparing for the celebrations. The party supporters are seen swaying the saffron-coloured party flag victoriously and dancing in celebration. The Narendra Modi-led NDA alliance is leading with 355 seats. Modi himself has won the Varanasi, UP, seat with more than three lakh votes. The Congress party, which has been in power for all but 23 of the last 72 years, appeared to be heading for another lower tally, after its dismal showing in 2014, leading in 90 seats. Six out of seven exit polls had predicted a clean sweep victory for BJP-led NDA alliance.
