In pictures: Voters exercise their franchise during Haryana Assembly elections

The voting is underway at 19,578 polling stations in 90 constituencies in Haryana. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress are contesting on all 90 seats, while Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is in the fray in 87 constituencies, and the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) is contesting 81 seats. There are 375 candidates contesting as independents. The election results will be announced on October 24. Here are some photos from the early hours of voting on Monday.
