Hopes of peace and unification rise in Korean peninsula following historical summit

The historical summit between North Korea and South Korea concluded with both nations agreeing to work towards complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. The leaders signed an agreement that also announced that they will work towards bringing peace in the peninsula.

The positive result of the summit is certainly a great encouragement to the Korean people who waited for the summit, a first in over a decade with great anticipation and hope. It is also a great relief for people across globe who were concerned about growing tensions in the region.
