As the results of the assembly elections from five states are trickling down we get a clear idea of who are the biggest winners ad losers. here is a look at such people based on the most recent data by the election commission.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan is on the way to becoming the first CPM leader to retain power in the state. Vijayan has not only led his party and allies to a splendid victory but also emerged victorious from the Dharmadom constituency.

DMK chief MK Stalin is on the way to capturing power in Tamil Nadu and thus succeed his father Karunanidhi has the chief minister of the southern state. Stalin won from the Kolathur assembly seat, while his rival All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's (AIADMK) Aadirajaram was a distant second.
